Actually, depending on the block list ... it *IS* something to be concerned with. Some mail server's block mail out of hand if it comes from a server that's on a block list. So if your mail server is on a block list, there's a fairly good chance that mail isn't going to be delivered.

There are a few RBL monitoring services available ... but you need to be careful about what they report. One that I found recently is RBLMon https://www.rblmon.com

Sometimes, when a RBL is shut down, the operators configure it to always return a positive result.
