The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

John Jones mentioned a corrupt PST file .. which is very likely a
problem. You might have an "Inbox Repair Tool" in the System Tools
menu, or search your hard drive for "scanpst.exe". There is also a
troubleshooting page for Outlook Express 6.0 --

Whether that works or not, this seems like a good excuse to me to
ditch Outlook Express. You won't regret it!
There are a gazillion email clients, but I recommend Thunderbird.
It's free and open source, from the makers of FireFox! --

will not be the last person you hear this from. If memory serves, our
esteemed host is a big fan.
If you prefer sticking with Microsoft, the "Windows Live" client is a
substantial improvement from OE. I believe it can be used as a
standard mail client without having to have a " Windows Live" account

As an aside - I really like Gmail. It is convenient, available
anywhere you have a web browser. It can be configured to get mail
from an ISP account if you don't want to change addresses, and most
email clients can be configured to download the mail if you aren't
comfortable leaving it in the Google cloud.
Have fun.
