You can, of course, sign up to be an SMB customer. I -- the individual; not
the corporate employee -- get their email specials a couple of times a week.

Likewise, stay away from their cheapest lineups - Inspiron for laptops, for
instance. Vostro is questionable. Latitudes are good. Optiplex should be
fine.

FWIW: I've also had good & bad experiences with dell ... but most of my bad
experiences has been with their consumer products division.

95% of my experiences with their SMB division have been good.
