Good News Everybody!
A new search engine is coming soon.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
I'm stumped, but thats not news.
One of the PCs here just started refusing to connect to the Internet.
So far I have figured out that I can telnet anywhere and ping anywhere.
I have tried "Repair" on the LAN connection, and it completes just
fine. I also used Internet Explorer, under Tools, to diagnose the
connection. It says that HPPT and FTP ports are shut off; look at the
firewall settings. I looked at the settings and saw nothing that
looked significant to me. I shut off the firewall entirely. Nothing
changed.
Any ideas would be most welcome.
