I'm seriously thinking about getting a dual monitor so I can have more
fun with WDSC. It's an employer-owned work PC and I'd be buying the
goodies myself. I tried Google, but there's way too much stuff to wade
through.
The computer is an IBM ThinkCentre A50p (8194) Pentium 4, 2.66 GHz, 1G
RAM. Current video on the motherboard (Intel 82865G). Current display
is a 17 inch CRT SVGA connector.) OS is Windows XP SP 2. The
motherboard has an open AGP slot and 3 open PCI slots.
I don't care about video performance as long as it'll run a 17 inch LCD
monitor in native mode, and I'm not overly concerned about the exact
monitor either. I'd ordinarily get a cheap PCI card and Viewsonic 17
inch CRT and hope for the best, but I'm nervous about the onboard video.
Any advice is most welcome.
