I would love to see a USB wireless card with a small flash drive embedded (64mb maybe) ... so you can just plug the device in and the drivers are right there for you.
Good point, we use portables we are not allowed to change, with no wireless at work, so it needs to have a wired connection also at home. (So I have one really really long cable for her) Sure, we could get it changed, but it seems to be more of a hassle. I am holding out for the USB device that I stick in any machine I can sign on to, no software is installed, flip the lid up and my thumbprint gets me in 3 totally different "secured networks, whether at a hot spot home or work. Especially Airports.....ewe... I can't see credentials in the USB though, if the accounting firms, VA, and all the others that keep loosing portables would have credentials in the USB, it would be a nightmare for the rest of us.
