There's been a bit of bashing lately, and I just wanted to say that there are some things that Windows does correctly. My old wireless card on my laptop gave up the ghost. I went to Fry's to buy a replacement, and had a little culture shock - you can't get 802.11b gear anymore! But I bought a refurbished Netgear G card for $20, downloaded the installation software onto a USB drive, plugged the card and USB drive into my laptop and within a minute I was back up and running. SOME of this plug and play stuff actually works! Joe
