As it happens David, the link in this case is in an e-mail - but that is not always the case. In some cases it is simply a link on a web page. Here's the difference. If I click on the link (in the e-mail or on the web page) the browser opens with the URL showing correctly in the window. But the screen remains blank. If I a) Cut and paste the link that is now showing in the browser into the Open dialog of Acrobat then the file is displayed correctly. Or b) If I right click on the link and do "Save As" and then select Open from the download monitor it again opens correctly. To me this indicates that the URL is correctly formed - but I have no idea where to go from here. Jon Paris Partner400 www.Partner400.com
