Hi Peter -
I have followed the LU1812 and LU1806 instructions on the website (step by step, believe me) but is always recommending one of two things: rebooting and run LiveUpdate again or to reinstall the whole Norton SystemWorks Application.
I ran into similar problems with Symantec when I was trying to renew my subscription, so I gave it up as a bad job and went with the free [for personal use] version of Grisoft's AVG. (This on my PC at home so it is for personal use.)
