I don't think size is a problem John (I should probably re-word that but
what the heck ...) I have 15Gig spare on the drive.  Also the target drive
is the same (this is on a laptop).

That I might try if all else fails.

So far it is only zip files and exe that are a problem.

I wonder if it has anything to do with MS Defender?  I updated to the latest
version around the time that this started.
