Re: Symantec Norton SystemWorks 2004 (LiveUpdate Issue)
I have followed the LU1812 and LU1806 instructions on the website (step by step, believe me) but is always recommending one of two things: rebooting and run LiveUpdate again or to reinstall the whole Norton SystemWorks Application.
This reminds of when McAfee crippled their AV software, which originally had lifetime virus updates, so that everyone would upgrade to the newer software which would only carry updates for a year.
Usually Symantec will provide a tool that does a complete removal of their package. I had to use this on my wife's PC when the upgrade from one year to another didn't work quite right.
