Rick, IIRC, you must specify an admin password during install, are you sure you didn't specify one. Next, have you tried shutting down and rebooting and seeing if it bypasses signon. You explicitly told it to signoff, that's different that not having to signon at boot. And lastly, just because you autologin w/out a password doesn't mean you don't want to logoff. What if it's your machine, but you need a second account, say to admin SQLServer, or for any other reason.
