Thanks Bill. I suspect that I got myself into design mode by adding the new button. At that point I was able to delete the previous buttons. I'm no Excel expert. I've done a fair amount of work in Access with buttons and macros but nothing obvious jumped out at me in Excel. Everything I know in Excel I've learned because people ask me questions on how to fix their problems. Today I learned something new. Thanks.
