RE: To hyperthread or not?

I'm not aware of any pages on the subject (I'm sure google will show too
many to be useful <G>) but it's my understanding that HT provides a dual
integer pipeline, but only one floating point pipeline. So, if what
you're doing it integer based then HT should help, but if it's floating
based it won't. Since web service is integer based I would say it should
help out. Of course YMMV.
