Actually, we are developing real-time software for field collection, and our intended hardware is the Toughbook 18. I went to a users conference in DC last year. Most of the customers there are military, police, and intelligence agencies (average deployment around 800+ units per group). The VP of the division was there and he literally "bowled" a toughbook running a video down the aisle. Someone at the other end picked it up and the video was still running. These are seriously impressive machines!
