At boot time, you can halt the process by using the "Pause" key - 
Shift-Break on my keyboard. Or maybe you don't need the Shift - just the 
Break. Anyway, hit it when the boot is going through the memory test, 
record the BIOS info that is usually at the top. Hit enter and then pause 
again quickly. Repeat until you see some stuff at the bottom. This is 
motherboard info, usually. You may need to do this a few times to get your 
timing right. Do a google on this stuff and you should find your info.
