Thanks, Jon. Yes, as part of our PHP practice we are supporting and
well. Load tests show excellent performance. We can also update the PHP
version pretty easily. One thing to watch out for—the standard RPM
doesn’t have all the extensions people may be using. We are building
them. Ldap, for example. I like the fact that the PHPRPMs are 64-bit, so
we don’t need to do the PASE 32-bit LDR_CNTRL shenanigans. About web
servers, Apache still works well with little or no changes. Just update
the fastcgi.conf file. Nginx also works.
