Python ecosystem enhancements

An SQL Alchemy adapter for IBM i

That is fantastic news, but also bad news. The bad news is the last several
weeks I've been pulling Alchemy out of an application we would like to use,
and changing it to the ODBC support. If this is what I think it is, that
project can stop, we can try this instead and it opens up a whole host of
options...

"Only" a few weeks? I thought you were asking about SQLAlchemy months
ago! (Or maybe it's just that my sense of time is warped from staying
home so much?)

Anyway, I understand that good-new/bad-news feeling that accompanies
advancements.

And of course, SQLAlchemy is one of those things that makes eminent
sense to have on the IBM i.

Thanks Jessie and Kevin!

Yeah! Thanks! The Python ecosystem on IBM i has come a very long way!

(Now if I can just get one of my coworkers to stop writing new code
that calls my iSeriesPython 2.3.3 stuff....)
