Thanks Kevin, I totally understand, no worries!

I'll be going out to take a look later this week.

Sorry we couldn't announce this sooner for you!

Our repo is at [1]https://github.com/IBM/sqlalchemy-ibmi if you want to
try it out and give some feedback. We don't have a packaged version on
PyPI yet, though.

Python ecosystem enhancements

An SQL Alchemy adapter for IBM i allows development and deployment of
IBM i
applications through SQL Alchemy, which provides an object-relational
mapper
(ORM), among other things. For more information, see the
<[2]https://www.sqlalchemy.org/ > SQLAlchemy website and the
<[3]https://github.com/IBM/sqlalchemy-ibmi > IBM i adapter GitHub new
project
page.

That is fantastic news, but also bad news. The bad news is the last
several
weeks I've been pulling Alchemy out of an application we would like to
use,
and changing it to the ODBC support. If this is what I think it is,
that
project can stop, we can try this instead and it opens up a whole host
of
options...

Thanks Jessie and Kevin!
