Exactly.
From a shell or interactive QSH, this works:
activemq start
If I run this CL command, it doesn't work:
QSH CMD('/QOpenSys/usr/bin/sh -c "/QOpenSys/pkgs/bin/activemq start"')
I finally noticed just now that "activemq" doesn't work thru the CL command. I suspect that's significant. This command:
QSH CMD('activemq start')
gives:
qsh: 001-0019 Error found searching for command activemq. No such path or di
ectory.
Press ENTER to end terminal session.

I tried piping the output to an IFS file. The file contains the
messages from ActiveMQ and the results are the same. What am I missing?
By that I assume you mean:
- If you launch from CL, no pid
- If you run script interactively from shell, there is a pid
??
