So far I'm only using a small amount of python (on the IBMi ) for simple
things like creating spreadsheets and pretty-printing JSON strings.

I installed python3 through the Open Source Package Management menu option
in ACS.

/QopenSys/pkgs/bin/python3 --version = 3.6.6

I was just wondering about python virtual environments on the IBMi.
Do people use these (Is it even implemented?)
