An interesting note-warning on CHROOT.

If you create an environment and decide to get rid of it, make sure NOT to do that using an FTP client such as FileZilla.

Someone I know did this and it removed all the PASE code.

Apparently FTP clients chase the symbolic links and actually delete the associated files.

My pleasure. I've learned tons from Tony Cairns, Kevin Adler, and Jesse Gorzinski so I try to give back whatever I can. This automation stuff(n1) is a big necessity for IBM i shops to adequately compete.

n1 - chroot can be used to automate the creation of CI and CD scenarios.
