That sounds OK for a public-facing site, but I'd think internally people would want to leverage OS security. Maybe I'm wrong, or maybe Node is mostly in public-facing stuff.


On a side note, is this list appropriate for these basic questions? Many projects have a user list and a dev list. I'm not sure if this list is appropriate for user questions. If not, please let me know.

I use home grown authorisation because I want the app(s) to be as platform agnostic as possible. I haven't really examined how Kerberos could possibly assist with IBMi object level authority.
