I get this when I go to install Cheetah on my 7.2 partition:

bash-4.2$ pip install Cheetah
Collecting Cheetah

Complete output from command python setup.py egg_info:

You are using pip version 8.1.1, however version 9.0.1 is available.
You should consider upgrading via the 'pip install --upgrade pip' command.

Checking online it looks like some issue with setuptools vs distutils but my knowledge is limited here. Still looking for options or workarounds. Python version is 2.7.11
