There is going to be a Crowdcast this Friday at 11 AM (US Eastern Time):
The topic will be open source on the i, implemented using ILE
languages (so not the PASE-centric stuff you usually see in connection
with open source on the i). In particular, it will discuss a GitHub
repository that has already been created with some contributions in
CL, RPG, and SQL (no C or COBOL as yet, to my knowledge, though there
is no reason you couldn't contribute in those languages as well).
The Crowdcast is open to anyone. You can feel free to lurk or
participate more actively. If you can think of any questions to ask, I
encourage you to register in advance (it's open now) and just ask
them. This is particularly important if you won't be able to tune in
real-time. You can catch a recording of it later.
