Indeed. One of the biggest pieces of feedback from people attending PASE
open source presentations (Python, Rails, Node.js) is ignorance and
unfamiliarity in Unix shell. To help with that, I'm working on a kind-of
"Unix shell for dummies" presentation for ZendCon in October. It will be a
useful presentation for future open-source related conferences. I think it
would also be good to have a Unix shell/SSH lab at COMMON and other
conferences.

Do you have intentions of making the lab open source? If so, we could have
people use spaces.litmis.com for a learning environment so they don't
accidentally hose their on-premise IBM i.
