Joe, As John Ross suggets, it is the Klez virus. There are many different messages it sends out, but several imply fixes that you should install. Of course, they aren't really fixes. You should follow the instructions at http://www.sarc.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.klez.removal.tool.html to make sure you aren't infected. And, of course, make sure your antivirus definitions and email (and OS) software are up-to-date. Also very important is to turn off your preview pane. Then if you don't open the message, it can't infect you. (Sadly, the preview pane opens the message and runs the attachment. You can't even delete it without getting infected.*) * OK, if your software is current, you are probably OK. Also, you may be able to CTRL-click or SHIFT-click multiple messages to delete the infected one and still be safe - haven't tried. P.S. Or you can not use Windows, but that's another story!
