Can Outlook '97 forward all mail in one folder with "one click"?

I've got about 500 items in one Outlook '97 folder that I have to free
up space for.  Outlook has an option to export a personal folder file
(.pst) that I could use, but what apps can handle .pst files?  Or are
there any converters out there that would make the file readable by
other email clients?
