In that case, I'd unrack, unplug and go, and afterwards connect the flash disks in my "main location" to a SAS HBA in a Linux box, and run a blkdiscard command over all of them. This does not stress the SSDs flash memory like dumb overwriting does. I deem this "safe enough" and both cases might leave data behind which can be recovered by tampering with the flash mem controller in the SSDs. YMMV.
