LOL - The "rest"of the world is not all computer professionals. IBM uses the 1024 in its evaluation of kilobytes and megabytes and all - thus, I believe we do know better then to follow the "rest". Especially if making a statement of comparative size.

It can be - and it's also my preferred calculation

2GB = 2 * 1024 ** 3 bytes

but the rest of our world already adopted the "new" form of 2 * 1000 ** 3 - just ask Google "How many bytes in 2GB" and your answer will be

2GB = 2000000000 bytes

Anyway - those 2GB (or 2.14GB however we like to see it) are hopefully enough.
