I am sorry to have to say, but 2 GB is actually 1 more than 2,147,483,647 - still, it is more than 16 MB - I believe a GB in this context is 1024 * 3, not 1000 * 3.

It can be - and it's also my preferred calculation

2GB = 2 * 1024 ** 3 bytes

but the rest of our world already adopted the "new" form of 2 * 1000 ** 3 - just ask Google "How many bytes in 2GB" and your answer will be

2GB = 2000000000 bytes

Anyway - those 2GB (or 2.14GB however we like to see it) are hopefully enough.
