Thanks for your hint. In fact, I do. This is part of a bigger project. Surprisingly more complex than I had initially thought. It involves TCP/IP sockets, and while doing this in RPG is possible, I spare myself this — to me — unusual environment.

When PFs, LFs, DSPFs & friends are involved, I'm good enough with RPG. For everything else, I fall back to C, which I found I've become somewhat rusty in.
