Uhm. Totally different thing to me. Having a program in main memory means,
it hasn't to be reloaded from disk when being used again. Contrary, I can
see no benefit in objects which are just there to be there.
Some of these directories in the /tmp genre are just assumed that theycan be cleared periodically.
Allow me to clarify… I am not talking about "/tmp genre" directories, but
IFS objects in general.
And, as pointed out numerous times, some of these objects areperpetually locked and will never be able to be saved successfully anyway.
So why flood the joblogs with locked object messages to the point you start
ignoring critical messages?
I fully agree. But this might not pertain to objects described by the
above explanation.
