Graham,
We use zebra scanners almost exclusively... we have also used the Zebra 123scan to append an enter (or field exit) to the end.
We produce and scan GS1 barcodes (assume you mean GS1-128 with the SSCC?). I typically parse those in my programs that handle the UI (green screen or browser). I've never tried to do it with the 123scan software.

I have tried CR etc.... there is no ENTER in the separator fields
