Same as most other indexes but the system creates and manages them for its own DB performance. It’s a good idea to review them and sometimes consider making them permanent. Not all are candidates for permanent indexes but you might find a few that should be.

I'm aware. I just did not know the term. Within this group, they're most often referred as "temporary index".
