Re: Windows update trashes ACS

This is providing you use OneDrive. This is a Microsoft Office 365 product
to encourage you to store your 'local' stuff in the cloud. One of the
first things I do is to turn off the option to default to saving new
documents to OneDrive.
But work hasn't pushed down a Windows update in a couple of weeks.
I've not experienced this issue.

"I suspect the issue was caused by Microsoft OneDrive which updated
itself on 11/21/24 last week.


OneDrive moves all your user folders from the user directory (e.g.
users/williams/Documents) to a new folder
(users/williams/OneDrive/Documents) and uploads your files to the cloud.
I believe this hosed the IBM ACS installation on the system. I stopped
it uploading files and unlinked Sean's account from OneDrive."
