Does it actually mention a remote system?
Perhaps it is doing a connection even if you are using the local entry
shown in WRKRDBDIRE

I have an SQLRPGLE program that's running a CREATE OR REPLACE TABLE
QTEMP.MY_TABLE as the first operation. It works fine most of the time, but
on occasion it fails with SQLSTATE '58004' (A system error occurred). The
job log shows a CPF9160 (Database connection started over TCP/IP on target
system &8 job &9). It shouldn't be using DDM and I'm not sure why it's
trying. All of the operations are against the local DB.

Any idea what would cause it to intermittently try a DDM connection?

Thanks
