Patrick -

Good question.

Many years ago I used DDM between an AS/400 and a System/36, but never between AS/400 - iSeries - IBM I and an IBM mainframe.

Although I'm not sure where to find them, the following manuals might have relevant information:

- GC21-9527 Distributed Data Management Architecture: General Information
- SC21-9529 Distributed Data Management Architecture: Implementation Programmer's Guide
- SC21-9526 Distributed Data Management Architecture: Reference

Regards,
Steve

Hello,
I'm searching for clues what to enter in the third value of RMTFILE
("Nonstandard file 'name'" on the CRTDDMF command
when I want to access tables in DB2 on OS/390 from OS/400.

I skimmed through the Distributed Data Management book (SC41-5307)
but I've not found anything pertaining to this requirement.

Anyone having experience with this?
