Hi Richard
I just replied to another email, that I use Thunderbird for these lists. I just use the regular email part of TB, it does a very nice job of threading emails by subject, so far as I do it.
I don't know if David puts these on a Usenet server anymore - or if he ever did. I used to use one years ago, dim dark memory!
Several clients can probably work similar to TB - some web clients are pretty horrible - I'm not thrilled with the Centurylink one - no outlining by subject - what I call threading.
Cheers
Vern

Thanks. I'm tempted to create a project for myself to develop an app to navigate these message threads.

Some of the threads get broken because people use digest mode, etc. Some of the ads are a little too in your face.
I haven't tried working with something better to process these emails.

Hi, I was wondering what apps people use to navigate the midrange email
archive threads. I simply use the Google chrome search 'site:
midrange.com<http://midrange.com>' + some keywords and select a message and then
navigate via
the links to 'prior message' / 'next message'. But seems kludgie. Are
there apps that present the entire thread, or offer smoother navigation
options? Thanks, Paul.
