I think there have been oodles of such apps around - called newsreaders, I don't remember if David has set these groups up to be handled by these.

I use Thunderbird, it has pretty good facilities for organizing these emails, including by thread, which would be my main need. Centurylink's web email app doesn't do threads at all that I have found, don't know if gmail does, Google for "Usenet" and/or "newreaders"

Cheers
Vern

Thanks. I'm tempted to create a project for myself to develop an app to navigate these message threads.

Some of the threads get broken because people use digest mode, etc. Some of the ads are a little too in your face.
I haven't tried working with something better to process these emails.

Hi, I was wondering what apps people use to navigate the midrange email
archive threads. I simply use the Google chrome search 'site:
midrange.com<http://midrange.com>' + some keywords and select a message and then
navigate via
the links to 'prior message' / 'next message'. But seems kludgie. Are
there apps that present the entire thread, or offer smoother navigation
options? Thanks, Paul.
