Just to clarify...
Commitment control is commitment control in Db2 for i.
Doesn't matter if you are using RPG's op-codes, SQL or a mix of both.
The only real difference is that if you issue an SQL DML statement, and
there is no currently active commitment definition, then the system starts
one automatically.
In other words, when using SQL, the STRCMTCTL is run automatically if
needed.
