so pretty basic question (unfortunately I don't know the answer)

in db2 commitment control (not sql), if a commitment control boundary is
started, and a file in a different actgrp is attempted to be
written/updated/deleted, will an error occur?

In other works, does nonSQL commitment control carry across actgrps?

When I say nonSQL I mean STRCMTCL command starts the cc and it is not
defined at the sql tables cc definition.
