I think what this may mean depends on what you choose to believe.
If you want it to mean that it will carry on forever for all releases for
all eternity but just without technical support, then believe so.
If you want it to mean that it will run on all current releases but may not
run on any future release, then believe so.
If you want it to mean that it may suddenly stop working due to some new
PTF which patches/updates/etc, then believe so.
If you want it to mean that it may suddenly stop working even without any
PTFs due to any number of obscure things (including 1940vs2039 type stuff),
then believe so.
Reality only matters when it smacks you upside the head with a 2x2.
