WRKDIRE on the customer box takes me directly to my own directory entry, with the message,

You can change only your own directory entry.

And my own directory entry is more-or-less completely blank.

And I've just lost my connection to the customer box, possibly for the rest of the day, because of a stupid browser-capture of F12.

At any rate, I have another, entirely different (albeit indirect) way to set it up to email me.

And sorry, Brad, but this isn't an appropriate situation for MAILTOOL, or for MMAIL, or for simply calling QTmmSendMail (which was the first thing I tried). THEIR people can evidently use SNDDST just fine, and you said it yourself,

99% of the folks I deal with say "if it works, it works" and they don't
care how.

(or more bluntly, if it ain't broke, don't fix it). If the path of least resistance involves sending it indirectly, then I send it indirectly.
