Hello all

A network guy went into the lab and noticed 2 amber lights on the Power 8 server.

He called me and I did a WRKPRB and sure enough, there was one.
I tried report the problem but that failed. Another thing to figure out.
Message was CPF8C19 return code 2.

Got ahold of our service provider and he said it's a raid card parity blip.

Contacted IBM for maintenance and waiting for response.

My question is, is there a service that I can check for these sort of things regularly, like every 10 minutes?
We get lulled into security by the resilience of the Power servers.

Electronic Service Agent is expected to automatically report hardware incidents to IBM, when properly configured. Well, it might not be easy :-(
