have to mess with certs when calling those guys.
so if the systools.httpgetclob works on the https (without certs in play),
then that tells me that the cert is optional.
why doesn't the qsys2.http_post work?

I seem to recall that when switching from the old Java-based methods to
the new C-based ones we did have to import the certs that were part of the
underlying Java package but not included with the C stuff. Tried to find
the message thread where I got help but can't track it right now.
