I second based-SAN based replication. Moved a client from IBMi using Mimix
(AIX would not be much different) to SAN based using Spectrum Storage and
managed with IBM Copy Services Manager )(I had some spare capacity for
licensing from the mainframe storage). Now we are so confident in DR we are
not calling it DR but site A and site B and plan to run 6 months in each
site with replication to the other site.

I used to use MIMIX on IBM i until I moved to Quick-EDD.
However is there any reason why you're not considering SAN based
replication?

Good Morning Everyone,

We are looking for a DR solution for our AIX environment and found that
MIMIX has a great but expensive solution. Is anyone leveraging MIMIX for
AIX and what have been the results?

Thank You,
Adamis
