My recollections are a bit dim, from more than half a lifetime ago
(almost two-thirds now), but I distinctly recall that the first time I
saw the phrase "object-centered" (sic) with reference to programming was
in one of the textbooks from my (LISP) class.
So far as I can recall, (LISP) doesn't have inheritance or polymorphism,
either. Just lots and lots of S-expressions.
