Another thought I had about this. Does a typical "user" get the scrolling screen when using a Unix screen? Or are they plopped into some GUI or other such thing which focuses on their job duties? For example, does an order entry clerk typically get a scrolling screen and then types in 'enter order' or some such thing?
Or are scrolling screens more the domain of administrators? I think of them like the open system version of CALL QCMD
