Fascinating. And it's also available on V6.

With that in mind, I'm running a test on our V6 box, with the logging set to *POLL, so that I get the maximum information on what it's doing.

The master "time.nist.gov" didn't work, apparently because our V6 box can't reach an ipv6 address. "time-a-b.nist.gov" worked just fine.

It appears that if the time is grossly out of sync, it adjusts the system TOD clock in rather small increments, over the course of several polls. For example, when I made the TOD clock 2 minutes slow, it took 7 polls to catch up. When I made the TOD clock 2 minutes fast, it took 6 polls to back down.

Thanks. I was scratching my head a bit, wondering how to start the thing. I didn't find it necessary to do anything with Navigator; I just had to have started it with a server address it could reach. Then just start monitoring the log file,
